“Modern Bop” is a celebration of the hard bop era meeting the modern day. In this special showcase, the Jeanne Marie Farinelli Quartet will be performing the classic 1962 album by Dexter Gordon, “GO!”. Following in the second set, modern compositions by artists such as Ben Williams, Ambrose Akinmusire, and Ben Wendel, will be explored.
